so much less a little girl
and so much more a young woman
filled with a heart that
wants to do nothing more than love Jesus
and love people
this sweet girl of His
has been given a chance of a lifetime
in 6 short weeks
she and her daddy
will spend 8 days in Guatemala
on a medical missions trip...
the first of many, I'm sure.
and she will never be the same!
How exciting! It's such a blessing to hear God using young girls for His glory! I'll be praying!
ReplyDeleteWe adopted our daughter from Guatemala and look forward when we can go back to that beautiful country and serve the people there. I wish your little lady and her daddy a beautiful time of service there!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing blessing. . . what an incredible girl . . . what special parents she has . . .and what a privilege to watch God's grace unfold!
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting. I know that you're one proud momma who will be doing lots of praying. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, now I'm crying. I wonder if it's more difficult to let daughters go than sons? Hmmmm.... So bittersweet. Lord willing, you'll be filled with blessings from your relationship with her and the investment you've made. I love the photo of her being baptized. Just a beautiful post, Heidi.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful change it will be. THere is something about giving yourself in the service of God that changes people...changes us. How very exciting!
