Sometimes it does shatter into a million pieces, and you think you can never put your life back together. Then God goes and puts more fire on you. What the heck?! And then suddenly you realize that you're whole again, and that you're more beautiful than ever. It's a miracle, and you realize that the pain wasn't wasted.Susan Evanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12434894089680185165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-676431120508340510.post-60263940091401913052010-12-06T22:52:17.093-05:002010-12-06T22:52:17.093-05:00We got a real tree this year too. They are now playing Christmas carols on the piano, singing along with the songs, really wanting to give presents to each other. It is great!Stefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14735618188851876515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-676431120508340510.post-29204320838557291692010-12-06T15:08:24.744-05:002010-12-06T15:08:24.744-05:00A real tree???

What joy in cutting down your own tree and to have those big helping hands decorate it. I've been blessed by reading your list!Trishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10612716398097555419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-676431120508340510.post-89798551406860957862010-12-06T10:46:54.658-05:002010-12-06T10:46:54.658-05:00You have a wonderful list . . . and I, too am so t...You have a wonderful list . . . and I, too am so thankful for a God who heals my own damaged heart and for a life that looks nothing like what I imagined, but what I need.livinginbetweenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06863271141699043381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-676431120508340510.post-81877982924000660512010-12-06T01:25:30.154-05:002010-12-06T01:25:30.154-05:00What beautiful glass ornaments! I have fond memories of doing that with my Dad and sister.

For now, we'll just happily put up our fake tree. ;) It is completely different when the kids get old enough to take on some (or all) of the decorating.

Have a blessed day!Heather @ Marine Corps Nomadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01704044370479709930noreply@blogger.com
